Create Social Apps

After you have installed AE Connect on your website and created your basic email registration, you can add social network sign up options. AE Connect supports logins for a number of different social media, streaming and gaming networks including Facebook, Spotify, Discord and Reddit. These are the channels that your user will give FairShare permission to track their interactions on. For a full list of the activity data FairShare can collect, see The Data AE Collects.

To add social network sign-up to your website, you will first need to create social apps for each channel. This is done in two parts: Retrieving client IDs and secrets from each network, then turning the services on in your FairShare dashboard. Detailed instruction for each social app can be found below.
